Mallika Sherawat receiving honour

Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat has recently honoured with a special recognition and resolution in Los Angeles City Hall by Hollywood. It is first of its kind. By the time she also met her avid Japanese fans over there including former Japanese prime minister.

The former Japanese PM was also supposed to honour after Mallika, but the Japanese representative made whole the council to wait for that until they followed Mallika in a media room to have a snap with her.

Tom Lebonge, a member of Hollywood Council introduced the former Japanese PM was to Mallika. However, the PM feels Mallika as ‘our girl’. Also the Japanese diplomat said that he was “enamoured” by her beauty and invited her to Japan. Glad meeting with her overseas fans, Mallika accepted the offer and plans to visit Japan, who was never been there.

It must be kind of double honour for the actress. Mallika has previously worked with superstar of South East Asia, Jackie Chan in The Myth.

Mallika Sherawat and Yanni

The 54-year-old Greek musician seems like become a fan of our own Bollywood hottie Mallika Sherawat as he dedicates his new song Changes to the actress at the concert Yanni Voices in Los Angeles. This is for the first time that Yanni has dedicated his composition to anyone. It was a crowd of 7,000 music enthusiasts where Yanni announced, “This song is for Mallika Sherawat. One of a kind.”

You must be wondering where the duo met. Well Mallika is in LA for post-production of her forthcoming film Hisss. However they first encountered on the microblogging website. She said, “…then he asked me, ‘May I, Your Majesty?’ and proceeded to kiss my hand.”

According to the sources, the musician had invited Mallika to attend his LA concert, to which she put condition that only if he dedicate a song to her. The video screen was showing images of Yanni’s performance in India at Taj Mahal in March 1997 when he was singing for the actress.

However Mallika couldn’t stop talking about it as she writes on her Twitter page “It was awesome! …I so wish my brother Vikram was there,” wrote Mallika.

Mallika Sherawat who is currently in Hollywood promoting her upcoming horror film Hisss has added one more feather in her cap. This is why because a Hollywood milkshake is named after her. The milkshake includes blackberries, chocolate sauce, blueberries, strawberries and whipped cream.

Irrfan Khan is next playing a role in Jennifer Lynch’s film along with Mallika Sherawat. The film was first titled Nagin, but Irrfan went unhappy with the title and suggested that the title should be changed. So the director came up with another title called Hissss.

One source from the unit said, “Irrfan was not very happy with the title as it sounded woman-oriented, so he asked the producer to change it. He also said that because he had an international market, the change in the title would help the film.”

To confirm the news, when asked to the actor, Irrfan said, “I did not have any problem with the title because it sounded like a female-oriented name; my problem was that there have been other films titled Nagin earlier. I thought that it may create confusion. Also it was not only my thought, but everyone else thought so too. Jennifer then came up with the title Hissss, which I think is brilliant and we loved it. Jennifer is an excellent writer so she can come up with this kind of title - I have not suggested the title of the film.”
