Aamir Khan does it again, Aamir Khan in his latest blog post has talked about his dog named ShahRukh likes licking his feet. The star is in Panchgani with family and kids.

Aamir writes “I’m sitting under a tree, on the edge of a valley, approximately 5000 feet above sea level. The river Krishna flows far below us snaking its way among the Sahyadri mountains.

A cool breeze is blowing, jannat ki hawa (breeze from the heavens), as my mother calls it. Ammi, Ira and Junaid are by my side and we are in the middle of one of our favourite board games ‘Settlers Of Catan’.

Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for?

Now, before you jump to any conclusions let me add that Shahrukh is the name of our dog. And before you jump to any further conclusions let me add that I had nothing to do with naming him.

In fact Shahrukh is the dog of the caretakers of our house. When I bought this house it came with the caretakers and their dog! ”

Apparently Shahrukh (the actor) was shooting for a commercial in this house a few years ago, and that very day the caretakers bought a pup…, and named him Shahrukh.

What are the chances of me buying a house which comes with a dog called Shahrukh!!!

Some of my friends claim that I bought the house just because of the dog. I would have to be a serious fan of Shahrukh’s to want to do that. Your guess…

All I can say is I’m waiting for him to come over.

Aamir Khan has worked out a deal with Vidhu Vinod Chopra which spells that Aamir will get 40 per cent of the total profit in Vidhu’s upcoming film ‘Idiot’, besides a Rs 5 Crore fee.

On Aamir’s deal with Vidhu, an insider informed us, “Aamir took his time in agreeing to the project. He will charge Rs 5 crore as his fee, plus 40 per cent of the film’s total profit. Vishu has agreed to Aamir’s terms” further says “Aamir has had a stable career graph for years and has churned out hits consistently. Most all his films fare very well at the box-office. After Taare Zameen Par, it is clear that he understands cinema. So, he deserves it.”

Aamir has liked the story of Idiot and the sources adds, “The film takes a dig at our education system. It revolves around a group of students who are considered idiots on the campus. But they go on to achieve something big, surprising everyone. Aamir always likes new and off-beat ideas. The script of Idiot is almost ready but Aamir has told Vidhu that the script should be ready in all respects. Aamir will start on Idiot as soon as Ghajini is over.”

Idiot is based on Chetan Bhagat’s book Five Point Someone, will be directed by Rajkumar Hirani (of Munnabhai fame) starring Kareena Kapoor.

Interestingly, Aamir and Kareena were not the first choice for the leads. Earlier, Rajkumar had approached Shah Rukh Khan for the lead role. In fact, he had offered him both the Munnabhai films as well but it did not work out. Shah Rukh liked Hirani’s new script and was trying to work his dates before things went wrong. According to grapevine, Shah Rukh was upset and opted out of Idiot because Vidhu shot him a nasty letter accusing him of trying to ’steal his director’ (Rajkumar Hirani) for his own production house (Red Chillies Entertainment).

As for Kareena’s role, Rajkumar had first spoken to Kajol. In an interview Kajol said, “I didn’t think that I was right choice for the role in Idiot. I love Hirani as a director and have told him to come up with another role for me.”

Aamir Khan not only believes in falling deeply in the character he plays in the movie, but he also is known for living reel character in real life. Aamir gave a teenager look in ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ with semi-short hairs next he grew his hairs and mustache for playing ‘Mangal Pandey’ and this time Aamir Khan is busy sweating out at his gym for his new movie ‘Ghajni‘ which demands the character to have a strong tight physique and great abs.

Aamir is being guided by Satya, Satya is a famous Bollywood fitness trainer and has Rani Mukherjee, Vivek Oberoi & Esha Deol in his trainee list and to remind not many know that Satya was given a break by Aamir himself during ‘Lagaan’. Aamir even encouraged Satya to come to Mumbai and now the trainee is helping Aamir build a body next to perfect and which the trainee himself claims that this kind of physique is never experienced by fans before on the Indian Screens, and this is one of its first kind in Bollywood.

Satya also travels with Aamir on his sets and is known to rigorously push aamir to work consistently. Satya was in Hyderabad with Aamir for the shoot of Ghajni & before every shot he ensured that the star pumps his muscles. After seeing Aamir’s new physique Satya himself is totally bowled, SO how will it make an impact on the public when they see new Aamir for the first time ??

Looks like fans will forget ‘Dard-E-Disco’ fever after seeing ‘Ghajni’.. Lets wait and Watch..

It seems just true love and appreciation from fans is the biggest award Aamir Khan can receive, who just refuses to be a part of any award functions of Bollywood fame. Though Filmfare, Screen Awards and many others have honored Aamir with many awards previously despite him not attending any of the award functions.

IIFA is really a big platform for any film related persons to get recognition for their work, Unfortunately ‘Taare Zameen Par’ is not a part of any nomination in the IIFA awards this time as the actor who is also the producer for the movie has failed to fill mandatory application for his work to be qualified for IIFA. Big B aka Mr.Amitabh Bachchan who is also the brand ambassador for IIFA also suggested and adviced to fill the mandatory form of IIFA to get nominated for awards but Aamir simply refused saying that participating in awards is against his principles…

Aamir is really very professional and principled person and when it comes to work he just needs it perfect though We think Aamir’s fan will be disappointed as Aamir or Darsheel Safary will be missing in the nominations and ofcourse will not get any awards at the prestigious award function for their genuine professional work ‘Taare Zameen Par’
