Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone

Imagine what will happen when Ranbir’s ‘best friend’ Katrina Kaif accidentally bumps into his ex Deepika Padukone. Recently at a shoot, both these girls exchanged cold stares even before Katrina walked out. Both of them were not in the mood of acknowledging each other. Apparently, Ranbir Kapoor became close friends with Katrina Kaif when he was dating Deepika.

On Wednesday, Dips was busy with a magazine photo shoot in the Mehboob Studio open area. An eyewitness who was watching all this says, “Deepika had come with Farhan Akhtar for her photo shoot. Somewhere around late afternoon, Deepika was giving her solo shots in the garden area of the studio. While Deepika was doing her last minute touch-up, there was pin drop silence and all eyes swiveled to the entrance. It was Katrina Kaif, who had accidentally walked in, thinking it was the venue where she was called for the shoot. She was dressed in a short white skirt and a pink tee, Katrnia walked in and froze for a second. Deepika, who was standing some distance away, saw her. Both had a few seconds of eye contact, and Katrina immediately took a U-turn and walked away.”

It was not surprising at all considering their history. A close source revealed, “Although Ranbir and Deepika are not seeing each other anymore, the latter still has issues with Katrina. It was the growing friendship between Katrina and Ranbir which marked an end to her relationship.” When asked Katrina and Deepika about this incident they were both unavailable for the comment.

Aamir Khan

Recently, at the success party of 3 Idiots, many people noticed that Aamir Khan did not drink alcohol. Even a couple of days earlier at his nephew’s engagement party, Aamir did not even have champagne. According to the news on January 1, 2010 Aamir decided to give up smoking and drinking for the rest of his life. Aamir said, “The next time I invite you home, I will treat you with beer, but I will drink nimbu paani.”

When asked him the reason for quitting drinking and smoking he says, “I just felt like doing it from within. There is no specific reason. Yaar I have put on 10 kilos in recent months. Also, sometimes, I tended to overdo the drinking bit. And I hate it when I feel unhealthy. Therefore, I just decided that I wanted to quit alcohol for life. As for cigarettes, I was never a regular smoker. But I have decided to give it up too.”

Akshay Kumar, Sonam kapoor

The new on screen pair of Bollywood is Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. According to reports, Sonam Kapoor is in talks with director Anees Bazmee to be cast opposite Akshay Kumar in his next movie, titled Thank You. Akki is a best friend of Anil Kapoor and cannot stop praising Sonam and her acting skills.

A source also revealed that, “Thank You is a romantic comedy and will see Sonam in a totally different role.” Earlier the director was interested in casting Katrina for the role. However, her dates were clashing with her upcoming movie sequel of Dostana. This will not be the first time when Akshay and Sonam are considered together for a role. Sometime ago even Farah Khan was planning to cast Sonam in Tees Maar Khan instead of Katrina.

The movie Thank You will be on the floors by midyear and Sonam will be playing a double role. A close source to Sonam says, “It is a comic caper in true Anees Bazmee style. Sonam has already read the script but is still to make a final decision. At the moment she is in New Zealand shooting for I Hate Luv Storys.” When contacted, Anil Kapoor denied the news of Sonam doing any such movie with Akshay.

Fardeen Khan

Fardeen Khan is planning to revive his old production house known as F.K. Films in a few months. He was also sharing his plans of being a producer with some of his actor friends. Once he gets all his projects in a loop, he will be making a formal announcement. A close source to Fardeen confirmed saying, “yes, he is restarting his home production, it was his dad’s dream to see Fardeen turn a producer. He always told Fardeen that he should someday start making the kind of movies he believes in. after his father’s passing away, Fardeen has been low for a while, but is now working towards becoming a producer.”

Recently there was a rumor that Fardeen Khan signed Mudassar Aziz, the director of Dulha Mil Gaya for his first movie. However, Mudassar refused saying, “Fardeen is a great friend but there is no truth to the news of me directing a film for him.” Fardeen is planning to remake Qurbaani, since Firoz Khan was interested in recreating the magic of this classic movie. Fardeen will definitely do it for his dad.

Avantika Malik, Imran Khan

Imran Khan has got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Avantika Malik. The couple has been dating each other for a very long time. They have always been very open about their relationship. The duo was engaged at the Malik farmhouse in Karjat, Avantika and Imran arrived together at the farmhouse to exchange the rings.

This engagement ceremony witnessed many Bollywood celebrities. Imran’s mamu Aamir Khan came with his wife Kiran Rao and his son Junaid, also Reena, Aamir’s ex-wife was present at the function. Aamir’s entire family was present at this occasion to bless Avantika and Imran. The other guests at the party were Kunal Kohli, Kunal Kapoor, Sarika, Karan Johar and Abhay Deol.

Imran Khan, Deeepika Padukone

After Deepika’s brake-up with Ranbir Kapoor, she is doing a film with Imran called Brake Ke Baad. That is Kunal Kohli’s next movie, he will be producing the film rather than directing. He says, “My director Danish Aslam and I always wanted to call his film Break Ke Baad because it is about a couple Imran and Deepika who break-up and want to come together.”

Earlier the title was registered with someone else. Kunal was unable to locate the legal owners of this title anywhere in Mumbai. Kunal says, “We finally tracked it down to Bangalore to a 60 year old gentleman who deals in electrical goods. He owns a company called Seva Films. He hopes to make films that would change the world. Break Ke Baad is one of the titles he had registered. He loved our idea and gladly parted with the title.”

The most difficult part was to get a permission to shoot in Delhi. Kunal says, “I could write a thesis on what I have gone through to get permission to shoot in Delhi.” However, his problem did not end there. He was also denied the permission to shoot on the Gold Coast. The entire movie is set in Australia and Delhi.

Break Ke Baad will be Kunal’s first film as an independent producer.

My Name is Khan

SRK picked up an injury on the sets of My Name is Khan. He faced many health issues while shooting for this film. The actor had severe migraine at the back of his neck while shooting for MNIK. Shahrukh was never prone to headache he completely ignored it a couple of times, and had pills for the pain. When the pills were not effective at all, SRK decided to see a doctor.

The doctor examined the actor and determined the cause of the headache after seeing the actor’s medical history. The headache and neck pain was caused due to his posture and an expression of Rizwan Khan, which is SRK’s character in My Name is Khan. Rizwan is suffering from Asperger’s Syndrome, he has a habit of hanging his neck in a particular angle, and all his expressions have eyebrows raised in every scene. Since SRK shoots for hours, he got a severe migraine. Now the actor goes to a physiotherapist to get his neck pain cured.

Director Karan Johar says, “I guess that is one of the hazards when you play your role so intensely. Shahrukh’s character Rizwan had to arch his eyebrows and focus his eyes on a certain place before every take. Halfway through the shooting of the film, SRK developed severe headaches as result of all the pressure it would put on his head so he had to see a neurosurgeon for that. We were worried, as SRK had never had this problem before. Those people afflicted with Asperger’s develop certain physical personality traits, something SRK had intensely studied while shooting for My Name is Khan.”

Karan also said that, “In Asperger’s, each trait is uniquely different from the other person. Their way of talking to people, body language, way of holding their heads are different from each other. A high-functional autism where a person leads a completely regular life but has certain traits sets him apart. Like apart from fear of noises and new people and places, Rizwan is also scared of the color yellow and is emotionally disconnected to it.”

Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor

Priyanka and Shahid have split-up again. The couple has even stopped following each other on the community site twitter. The both broke-up before Christmas. Piggy Chops was supposed to start shooting for her upcoming movie Anjaana-Anjaani in New York on January 3, but she decided to leave a week in advance for the shoot. She was trying to run away from the memories.

Previously, Shahid has decided to split. However, he realized that Priyanka meant a lot to him. When they thought they wanted to stay together, somehow things started to go wrong between them, and this time Priyanka decided to end their relationship. The break-up is not harmonious. Priyanka and Shahid have always had a rough relationship, and all their common friends knew that they were going to part their ways. Both the people have different and strong personalities, and are completely different from one another, and that has often created arguments and fights.

A close source to the couple reveals, “They had a huge fight before she left for her New York schedule. Shahid brought up the subject of her co-star Ranbir, which irritated her and things got ugly. Earlier whenever there was a tussle, Priyanka would try to make peace. However, this time she was not in a mood to fix it.” Another reason for the break-up was Priyanka’s friendship with Mubina Rattonsey. The source also said, “After Shahid broke-up with Kareena, he got close to Mubina. It was also believed that she was more than a confidante to him but then things went wrong, and they drifted apart.”

Priyanka Chopra was introduced to Mubina through some close friends and they got along instantly. However, Shahid did not like their friendship. He thought that Mubina would influence Priyanka against him. He asked Priyanka to stay away from her but she did not listen to him. Eventually they started to fight more, rather than enjoying with each other, and Priyanka decided to end it.

Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan is sporting a new metro sexual look for his debut television show. The show is aired on Colors Channel the show is called the National Bingo Night. Junior Bachchan is seen wearing a baby pink color jacket for the promotional shoot of the show. Although, this will not be the first time, where Abhishek is sporting the metro sexual look, he had the same identical style in movies like, Dostana and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Fox Television Studios India Pvt. Ltd. produces the National Bingo Night. Abhishek is very excited about his show and says, “It is a fun-filled show where the whole country will be my guest without applying any brains or answer any difficult questions. This is such a chilled out concept and something that has never been done before in India. The sheer simplicity of the idea and the fact that this show is highly interactive is what attracted me to it.”

This game show will have two fast rounds of the very popular game Bingo. The formal launch of this show was done by a lot of marketing activates and promos on the channel. Since few weeks, the viewers could see Abhishek resting in a chair or sleeping on the bed, announcing the launch of his aaram classes. Abhishek said, “The idea here is that it is a show which is to be enjoyed by relaxing. That is why we came up with the concept of Aaram Classes. We want the people to chill out and enjoy this game. There is absolutely no stress, no tension involved at all. So tune in to learn ‘aaram’ and get ready for Bingo.”

It is still not decided when to launch the show. The format of this show is by 20^th Fox Television Distribution, since it was very successful in Philippines, Australia and US.

Bipasha Basu, John Abraham

There have been many rumors lately about this beautiful couple’s break-up. However, the fact is that John and Bipasha have moved in together. They both did not make any public appearance after the rumor of their break-up. According to the Bollywood gossipers, Bipasha had ended the relation and they were not together anymore. It was also said that the couple has decided to give each other some space and let love take a backseat. After New York, John made no public appearance, while Bipasha was seen alone for the promotions of her movies.

In spite of the rumors, it was found out that John and Bipasha are not only in love but have also moved in together. A close source of Bipasha says, “John is now living with Bips at her Khar residence. Even though the move is not permanent, the two spend a lot of time together. Like any couple, John and Bipasha also have arguments but that does not mean they have split.”

They couple many issues but that has been sorted out. Sometime back, the couple decided to give some space to each other, and that is the reason John did not accompany Bipasha at many events. Bips thought that the relation was becoming stagnant, and she asked John that they should spend some time apart.
