Ranbir Kapoor became nervous on the sets of Wake Up Sid while shooting an intimate scene with actress Kashmera Shah.

He is quite a charming person in real life but seems like not comfortable romancing in reel life. His nervousness was visible to everyone when he was shooting a sensuous scene with Kashmera on the sets of Wake Up Sid. He was so uncomfortable with the scene that the director Ayaan Mukerjee said ‘cut’ several times. The scene took multiple retakes to complete.

One unit member from the sets said, “Ranbir plays an innocent guy and Kashmera plays a neighbour, who is very attracted to him and wants to seduce him. The scene in which Ranbir got very nervous had Kashmera wearing extremely low-waist pants. We don’t know why Ranbir was feeling awkward. Maybe it was because of Kashmera’s sexy siren image.”

Ranbir was not available for statement, but Kashmera said, “I am a confident woman and I generally don’t get nervous. But this time I kept giggling like a schoolgirl. Ranbir is quite sexy in his own way. He has a nice boyish charm. He was uncomfortable but I think he was acting.”

However director Ayaan was too afraid to reveal anything about it. “I have strict instructions from my producer (Karan Johar). I am not permitted to speak about the film right now,” said he.

Preity Zinta

After a month around trip to Europe, London and America, actress Preity Zinta returns back to Mumbai. With her comeback to the city, the girl known for her straight from heart talk spoke about her break up with Ness Wadia.

Over the tour to US and Europe she spent time with family and friends. “How nice to know that I was missed. I feel good when people ask where I have been. No, I hadn’t gone for good. I basically follow my heart. If I want to do something, I go for it, no matter what the repercussions. I had been traveling to America, London and Europe for a little less than a month,” said Preity.

She spent good time with brother and his daughter in LA as well as with best friend, Shagun Khanna and her daughter in London. Later two weeks in Europe. Preity found a company of Mumbai girls like Malaika Arora, Surily Goel, Gauri Khan and Seema Khan in London and moved on to Paris with Surily.

Rumors are that she planned such a big trip just to heal her broken heart. On that note she replied with a smile, “I needed a break and I took one. Of course, I’ve gone through a break-up, but that’s personal. The only reason I speak to the press about what’s happening in my life is because I’m linked with the wrong men. Now, I want to work so hard that people discuss my professional life rather than my personal life. You can invite people to your home but you don’t take them to your bedroom. I’ve to preserve a certain part of me away from the limelight.”

Over her break up with Ness Wadia she said, “But then that’s life. It’s filled with unpredictable twists and turns. I have come out of the relationship smiling. Every experience in life helps you grow. You preserve the positive and move on. There’s no point dissecting it. Everything is so temporary. Even a Michael Jackson dies,” she said.

Giving attention to the kind of indignity given to MJ even after his death, she said, “That is really heartbreaking. He was a one-in-a-billion entertainer. Why go looking for skeletons in his closet when he’s gone? Why not celebrate his genius and enjoy his music? If this can happen to Michael then who are we? He gave so much of himself to his art. Finally, what did he get?”

No matter her heart is broken, she has acquired the required peace in it. “Either they’re writing about my broken heart or calling me a home breaker. I don’t care. I’ve to live with my conscience. I’ve to look myself in the eye in the mirror. I need my space. For those who want to know how I am, I am fine,” added Preity Zinta.

But now what about her association with IPL? “I’ll only be there for the matches as opposed to being constantly involved with the IPL activities. The first two years, I gave all of myself to IPL. I’m on the verge of signing two new films with very big banners. But before that, Main Aur Mrs Khanna with Salman will be out. Though I’ve a cameo in the film, it is an interesting role,” said Preity.

Her mother has come to Mumbai to stay with her and the actress loves spending time with her. “There’s no place like home, especially with mom in it,” she adds.

The two veteran actors of Indian film industry Anupam Kher and Sharmila Tagore come together in Morning Walk, a film which promises a delight for family audience. It’s after 25 year’s that the actors come together to share screen space. Previously in 1984 they worked together in Jawani.

Happy to be acting with Sharmilaji after such a long gap, Anupam says, “It’s a joy to work with people who know their job.” However Sharmilaji talking about her role says, “It is about a couple who meet again after a long time. They used to be lovers, then they separate, both build their own lives and then, they meet again. The story takes off from there.”

Also the other actors are happy to be acting with these veterans. “Most of my scenes were with Anupam uncle and I learnt a lot from him,” says Avika Gor, who plays Anupam’s granddaughter in the film. However Anupam returns the compliment as he says, “me too learnt a lot about spontaneity by working with a fine actress like Avika.”

Talking about the film, the director of INOX Motion Pictures, Alok Tandon said, “This is our foray into production, we have ensured that Morning Walk appeals to family audiences.”

Well the film promises to be a refreshing and artistic change in the middle of current senseless and slapstick movies.

Aamir Khan and Deepika Padukone

Aamir Khan along with Aparna Popat defeated the daughter-father pair of Deepika Padukone and Prakash Padukone in their own game badminton a couple days ago at the annual tournament for the Padukone Academy. Deepika was kind a master in the game as she played at state level during her school days. However Aamir started to play it few years ago and developed a great liking for the game since then.

Deepika has no regrets losing to the actor as she accepts he is good badminton player. Despite badminton, Deepika also has keen interest in cricket. Well, we know the Dhoni & Yuvraj Singh connection. But the actress was often seen playing cricket on the sets of her upcoming film.

“Boys in India still prefer cricket to any other form of sport,” says the sporty actress.

Tusshar Kapoor

Actor Tushaar Kapoor gets a chance to act in the remake of classic comedy Golmaal. The original film was starring veteran actor Amol Palekar. Tusshar hopes that he will do right justice for the film, however he also expressed his wish to act in two more such films if they remade. And these films are none other than his daddy Jeetendra’s hits Caravan and Farz.

“Caravan and Farz are the two movies, I have loved immensely. They are absolute entertainers. I’d love to do them if they’re ever remade,” says the willing Tusshar.

Shenaz Treasuryvala

Like many other film personalities and celebrities, actress Shenaz Treasuryvala is also set to make changes into her name. Well, she has not recently met any astrologer but wants to remove the ‘vala’ from her surname. Shenaz told that she wants to do it because everyone mis-spells her last name confusing the V for W or adding extra Ls. The actress is fed up of it and even finds Shenaz Treasury as a sexier and easier name. However her bank accounts and passport will carry the old name.

“It won’t be misspelt and maybe it will be lucky,” says the actress.

But, if it doesn’t work? “If people don’t accept it, I’ll take back the ‘Vala’, but only if you spell it with a V!” adds the hottie.

Karan Johar

As the director-producer-host Karan Johar is in USA shooting for his next venture My Name Is Khan with the hit Bollywood pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, he gets a pleasant surprise every other evening. When he is done with the day’s shoot and plans for a walk, his avid fans of his TV chat show Koffee With Karan surrounds him and ask for autograph and photo with him. It’s not only that but the funniest part is that each one of them requests him - ‘May we have coffee with you?’

But, Karan refuses all the invitations, because you know one can’t digest too much coffee.

Shazahn Padamsee

Like they launched Anushka Sharma with RNBDJ, Yash Raj Films is set to launch one more female face Shazahn Padamsee alongside Ranbir Kapoor with yet to be named venture to be directed by Shimit Amin. The director claim to fame with his last film Chak De India with YRF productions.

She is a daughter of renowned theatre personality Alque Padmasee and pop singer Sharon Prabhakar. The girl has already walked the ramp before and acted in dad Alque Padmasee’s play Unspoken Dialogues. To grab the role Shazahn gone through auditions conducted by YRF. Previously it was assumed that Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan will act together in the film. But according to reports only Ranbir has been signed for the movie.

Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar

After doing number of films together actor Akshay Kumar come to know much about actress Katrina Kaif which is needed to know. What he knows about the actress is her delicate health that if she stay under water for few hours, it’s clear that she will fall ill.

Recently both of them were shooting a typical rain song for Priyadarshan’s De Dana Dan at Mumbai studio. For the song Katrina was wearing chiffon sari and Akshay was dressed in thin Kurta. But with just a first shot itself Katrina sat shivering on chair. However many retakes done after and then our hero Akshay came into action to help Katrina. He made a round around the set to make sure that not a single air-conditioner is on and requested choreographer Pony Varma and Priyan to take care of her. Later he ordered two big Turkish towels, in one he covered Katrina, while wrapped himself in other. All this Akshay did because he knew that if she stays wet for a long she will get fever the next day. Well he knew this from his past experience (working) with the actress.

Being thankful to her co-star’s gesture, Katrina said, “God, he treats me like a baby.” Something she must know from long, but we know it now only, isn’t it.

Imran Khan with girlfiend Avantika Malik

As we already know that actor Imran Khan is interested in many things besides acting like- direction and script writing, but now we came to know that he is also interested in the technical stuff of the films. The actor who visits theatre every Friday along with girlfriend Avantika and some of their common friends says, “I wait for the end credits to roll.”

“I love to see the names of the technicians because my sole aim in seeing a film is to know the names of the new talented technicians who are now a part of Bollywood. I make a mental note of the names; and then I keep it stored in my memory, so that when I start work on a new film, I may be able to work with some of these super guys,” he adds later.

Well God knows why he is interested in all these stuff when he has much more years to survive as actor in the industry.
