Rahul Vaidya-First Superstar of India

Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar has got its 1st winner. It’s none other than Rahul Vaidya- the 2nd runner up Indian Idol 1. This time this brilliant singer has managed to win the title. Abhijeet Sawant is the 1st runner up while Harshit Saxena is the 2nd runner up.
In Indian Idol 1 Rahul was one of the strongest contenders on the show but he stood 3rd in that competition. This made all his fans upset. But now its party time for all of Rahul’s fans as their favorite singer has won the title of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar and he has become the 1st superstar.
In Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar the battle was between the winners of various music reality shows and their runner ups. So the competition here was really very tough and the level of singing was very high. Farah Khan and Vishal- Shekhar judged these singing stars while Mandira Bedi hosted the show.
The show was greatly admired by the audiences as this show brought all their favorite singers together. And finally on 12th July the show had its Grand Finale. Rahul Vaidya, Abhijeet Sawant and Harshit Saxena were the three finalists who reached to the finals.
The Grand Finale was a great celebration where a long list of celebrities marked their presence- hit pairs of some of the hit shows of Star Plus like Sumeet and Kumkum from serial Kumkum, Baa with her family from Baa, Bahu Aur Baby; some of the great singers like Sonu Nigam and Neeraj Sridar who shared the stage with these three finalists; and the bollywood stars like Bipasha basu, Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan.
Rahul- the winner of the 1st season of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar has won the prize money of 50 lacs. Abhijeet Sawant- the 1st runner up has won 10 lacs.
