Directors of their own niche, Vishal Bhardwaj and Prakash Jha have a mutual respect for each other. And one must have got a glimpse of that on the sets of Prakash Jha’s upcoming film Rajneeti in Bhopal, when Vishal was invited by Prakash as a special guest. The film casts many talented actors like Nana Patekar, Manoj Bajpai, Vivek Oberoi, Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Katrina Kaif.

One source said, “When Jha learnt that Bhardwaj was in Bhopal for his wife Rekha Bhardwaj’s show, he invited him to the sets. Both the directors have tremendous mutual respect. While Jha complimented Bhardwaj on Kaminey, Bhardwaj inquired about Rajneeti and both chatted for half an hour.”

However, Jha says, “Vishal is a very dear friend. I saw Kaminey in Bhopal and had messaged him. I learnt about his visit to Bhopal through newspapers and immediately invited him. He too was keen to come over. I have tremendous respect for his films and his devotion towards cinema.”
