Due to recession the film starring Shilpa Shetty and Bipasha Basu was put aside, but now it’s returning to life may be because the warm vibes the two actresses shared on the sets of Farah Khan’s chat show. It’s an action film and will be produced by Shilpa’s home production. Female oriented films were always supposed to be non-commercial, but now these two actresses are all geared up to mark it as wrong. And for that both of them are undergoing special training to look convincing in the film.

If it happens, Manish Jha will write and direct the film. Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra’s production house is also planning for another venture to re-launch Shilpa’s sister Shamita Shetty.

When asked to Bipasha, she said, “If everything works out properly, I would love to work with Shilpa. She’s a terrific person but doing the film depends on budget, and a host of other things.”

No one previously was daring to think of female oriented films, but now things seem to be changing slowly. Besides Shilpa, Shristi Behl is also ready to star Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the Indian version of Hollywood film Bride Wars, starring Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

Actress Katrina Kaif is also set for a production venture. She has already bought rights of a French film, which is also female-oriented. Katz has approached Dibakar Banerjee to direct the film. Talking about the film, Katz said, “I don’t want to talk about it until I lock in all the details. I don’t want my idea to be used by anyone else. As for the director, I’m not saying anything. But this is a role I haven’t done before.”
