The only thing Saif Ali Khan regretting in recent times is father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi has not yet seen his latest hit Love Aaj Kal. The film is the most successful film of Saif’s career.

Saif says, “My father rarely sees films. The last film of mine that he saw and liked was Parineeta. He said I had done well in it … and I was ecstatic.”

The film will be one of the biggest hits of the year and despite winning hearts of audiences seems like Saif has not managed to convince his father to catch his film. “I know dad cares a lot about me,” adds Saif.

“If he doesn’t watch my films, it is only because he doesn’t like watching films per se. It is nothing personal,” adds the actor.

However he also admits that a word of appreciation from his father is like world to him.
