After giving two back to back hits like Fashion and Dostana, Priyanka Chopra is set to make a big move in Bollywood. The actress is supposed to appear next in Yash Raj Films’ next. She will play a lead opposite Uday Chopra in Jugal Hansraj’s film.

A source close to the actress said, “This film will mark Priyanka’s entry into the YRF banner. Priyanka’s career is going great guns currently. Fashion has been declared a hit. Dostana has fetched her fabulous response. Top of the line banners are approaching her with substantial roles. She has already been part of production houses like Film Kraft and Dharma Productions. So being a part of YRF Films is the next obvious move. Priyanka feels that YRF film will only boost her career further.”

The source claimed that Jugal wanted some actress who has a mass appeal. The source added, “Besides Priyanka, Kareena and Deepika had been approached too. But Kareena and Deepika are committed to projects that are going to hit the floors next year while Jugal wanted an actress who could allot bulk dates to his film. He strictly wants to follow the YRF diktat of working and completing the film in one or two schedules. Also Jugal wanted an actress who has a mass appeal and can entice the audience.”

However, the spokesperson of YRF, Monica Bhattacharya did not deny it and said, “Nothing has been decided yet!” Meanwhile, the spokesperson of Priyanka said, “I cannot say anything right now.”

Priyanka is very particular about the film and banner she chooses. Currently she is working on Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminay and Ashutosh Gowarikar’s What’s Your Rashee. Although there is not yet decided or declared. We can’t deny the chances to see Priyanka in Yash Raj films’ next.
