Since his break with Kareena Kapoor, actor Shahid Kapoor has been linked with many ladies like Sania Mirza, Vidya Balan and now Priyanka Chopra. However the actor is keeping his mum and taking all this lightly thinking that media don’t want to see him single.

Romours of his and Priyanka Chopra’s link-up started as they come together on the sets of Kaminey. The film is about to release, however when asked to Shahid weather he is dating Priyanka, he replied, “I’m not left with much of a choice, am I?”

“Priyanka and I are good friends. However, people have been jumping the gun. If we take our relationship further, I may talk about it; but people are in a rush to link us together. I will not lie or hide a relationship but I will not stand on the rooftop and announce it either,” added Shahid with a smile.

Despite those rumors, Shahid’s career graph is surely gonna get new heights. According to a recent search, he is the ‘most searched guy’ on internet among the race of current sensations of Bollywood Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor. Also the actor has four back to back releases this year- Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminey, Ahmad Khan’s Paathshaala as a special appearance, Ken Ghosh’s Yahoo, and Yash Chopra’s Hadippa.

“When I’m finished with these projects, I will start work on Parmeet Sethi’s next for Yash Chopra again with Anushka Sharma (the Rab Ne girl),” says Shahid.

Talking about his upcoming film Kaminey, Shahid said, “Vishal Bharadwaj says my role is going to definitely surprise the audience. It is a hugely challenging role, very different from Jab We Met, and though JWM is the reason why Vishal signed me for Kaminey -both roles are poles apart.”
