The comedian is playing a role of sardar in Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming film. For the role Dibakar insisted him to wear a beard. Meanwhile, Paresh Rawal is extremely allergic to beards. He admits the he has very sensitive skin and has always avoided wearing beard on screen. So the production house has imported an expensive beard for him from China. It is the most expensive bear in Indian celluloid costing Rs 3 Lakh. It is made up of silk and textured to give a rough feel.

But, even after having this expensive beard, Paresh get into bad mood when he wears the beard. When asked about this Dibakar said, “Actually we made that work in our favor. Even after buying such an expensive beard he would start throwing tantrums, screaming at the makeup person. We used all this to enhance his character. The minute his beard was off he would be a different man.”

However the man himself says, “I’m very allergic to beards.”

“Personally, I have never even grown a bread in real life nor in my entire film career. But then, Dibakar was very particular about the look of all the characters in the movie. I play a Punjabi father of the ’90s, so he insisted I wear one. Even though it was specially bought from China, it was irritating nevertheless,” added Paresh Rawal.
