Neetu Chandra recently landed in Kolkata to walk the ramp for Soumitra Mondal’s KFW2 show. She seemed very energetic and full on life. She has been attending late and early flights to fly on and off the city for work and she is doing it without fatigue. “I’ve got a frequent flier card of every airline in India and have been living out of my suitcase for months on end,” says Neetu Chandra. “Only a pilot can date me. I’ll end up romancing him in the cockpit,” adds the bold actress.

Talking about her recent visit to Kolkata, Neetu says, “Kolkata is very close to my heart, more so because it’s only a 30-minute flight from here to my hometown — Patna. My father, who is battling cancer, has to undergo another operation on September 20. I tried every which way to coordinate my flight timings but I just couldn’t make it to Patna! People talk about the perks of celebrity lives but few understand how demanding our profession is. We live to meet deadlines.”

Adding more to the career gyan, she said, “Irrespective of where a person is in the pecking order, one needs work. Even SRK is working and still looking for work that befits his stature. Smiles sell. Nobody is interested in tears. Quoting the title of my film with Sanjay Dutt, we’ve to keep on the illusion of life being lived with a no problem attitude!”

We can understand how hectic it must be for the actress who has got six films ready for a release. The films include Rann, Mumbai Cutting, The Apartment, and Khusar Prasad Ka Bhoot.
