She is beautiful, hot and taller in person. Actress Deepika Padukone earned large fan following just after her first release Om Shanti Om. Within a short period of time, she acted with some of the top heroes of Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. But the talented actress doesn’t like to be compared with anybody. First it was Sonam Kapoor with whom she compared, now she is being compared with Priyanka Chopra.

Deepika said, “I am different. Don’t compare me with Priyanka Chopra just because she’s done stunts in Drona and I’ve done action sequences in Nikhil Advani’s upcoming movie. Each person is unique and so am I. I worked hard for six months to learn those stunts and was specially trained by experts from Hong Kong.”

Meanwhile she is happy that filmmakers have recognized her talent. She adds, “I will be playing a dual role once again in my upcoming film, after Om Shanti Om. So, I am happy that filmmakers find me capable of portraying different roles. It’s given me confidence and much satisfaction.”

While talking about her upcoming film Chandni Chowk To China, she says, “Wearing those tight wigs in the film was painful. One of the two roles I play in the film is that of a Chinese girl. This is why it was necessary for me to wear those tight wigs with a fringe. Even my eyes had to be stretched out for the role. It really hurt to stay like that till pack up, but the effort was worth it.”

The actress feels lucky to be worked with top actors early in career and talking about her future projects, Deepika adds, “From Shah Rukh Khan to Akshay Kumar. And now I’m working with Saif Ali Khan for Imtiaz Ali’s next film, after which I will be working with Akshay once again. Akshay is such a fantastic guy and has so many years of experience, I learn so much from him. I’m glad I’ve got to work with all of them so early in my career.”

Her upcoming film Chandni Chowk To China is slated to hit the theaters on 16th January next year. In which she is playing a lead opposite Akshay Kumar. The film is first ever Kung Fu comedy.
