Director-choreographer Farah Khan is ready with first episode of her celebrity talk show named ‘Tere Mere Beach Mein’. The show will be aired on Star Plus on every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. Unlike other chat shows Farah’s show will not only have film celebrities but celebrities from other fields like sport, business. Also the show is not targeted only for particular audiences but for masses. Karan Johar’s KWK was in English and supposed to connect with the NRI audiences. But, Farah’s show will be in Hindi and will connect to common man.

The first episode of the show has shot with actor John Abraham and cricketer Yuvraj Singh. The sets of the show are very casual and have bohemian look. Farah and her husband Shirish Kunder’s production 3’s Company is producing the show, while best friend Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies is the line producer for the chat show.

A source said, “This show has an interesting deviation. In stead of gifting her star celebrity with presents, Farah will be gifting cheques worth Rs 1-2 lakh to needy people. In the first episode, John and Yuvraj gave away a cheque to a poor woman from Thane who had given birth to quadruplets. When Farah read about her plight in a newspaper, she sent money, her kids’ toys and clothes to them.

Like this, money will be given to one poor and deserving person every week. Farah also intends to set up a trust fund where people can donate in. It will be transparent, as Farah intends calling the people whom the money will go to, to come on the show and take it.”

The first season of the talk show is expected to run for seven weeks and comprises of14 episodes. Farah is in talks with celebrities from various walks of life. She will also carry out market research side by side like feedback from audience or what they want to see. According to insiders the celebrities which are already nod to make appearances on the show includes Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Yusuf Pathan.

The show has light-hearted, funny and lively themes. The first episode of it has a ‘male-eye-candy’ theme comprising John and Yuvraj, while the second episode has Mama’s boy theme featuring Ranbir Kapoor with mother Neetu Singh and Karan Johar with mother Hiroo. One more theme called ‘Small Town Girl’, will feature actresses Mallika Sherawat and Kangana Ranaut, who came from small towns, but are aggressive and bold.
