According to Celina Jaitley, some jawans took her case in a very cheap manner.
She was at the Kolkata airport and there were the Central Industrial Security Force (CIFS) jawans doing their ordered service. But according to Celina one of the jawans tried to misbehave with her.
She was carrying a costly branded bag and had asked for a tray to the airport authorities as she does it everywhere else in India and is quite used to it. So that she could get her bag pass through all the customs and intense security checks.
After sometime that she placed her bag on the tray, a jawan picked it up and banged it on the conveyor belt. This apparently damaged her bag That damaged the skin of the bag (which was rather too costly approximately worth Rs.1.25 lac).
According to the beautiful brunette actor, this wasn’t the end of it all. After this she tried to speak to the jawans regarding the event and spoke in Bengali with him, but the arrogant jawan carried on his behavior and supposedly told her not to talk in Bengali and said “Madam, yahan Bengali nahin chalti!”
A disgusted looking Celina was certainly very annoyed with this and was very upset about the whole incident. “Are we not allowed to speak in a language that we are comfortable in? Is every person supposed to speak in English?” is what she asked the authorities.
Troubled by this, she instantly logged a complaint about the entire incident to the management. But, four or five guys amongst the jawans ganged up on her and again started misbehaving and ridiculing her for having carried such a costly bag.
Prakash Jha, a bollywood filmmaker launched a TV channel called ‘Morya’ last week. The entire cast of the upcoming movie, ‘Rajneeti‘ was present there along with Bhojpuri stars Ravi Kisan and Manoj Tiwari. Prakash Jha asked Katrina to speak in Bhojpuri. A source said, “Considering that Katrina speaks Hindi with difficulty, she had goose bumps when she was asked to speak in Bhojpuri. However, Prakash gave her three tutors Manoj Tiwari, Ravi Kisan and Manoj Bajpai. Katrina was willing to learn. They could manage to teach her only one line as it was difficult for her to understand.”
Manoj Tiwari confirmed this incident and said, “It was quite funny, Katrina was excited about it, so the three of us coached her to address the crowd with ‘Ka Haal ba Patna’. She diligently wrote it down on paper and mugged it. However, instead of saying ‘Haal ba’ she kept on repeating ‘Halba’ which sounded like ‘Halwa’. Bajpai and Ravi kept pulling her leg. We all were impressed with Katrina’s determination.
The music composer A R Rahman won two awards at the 52nd Grammy Awards, he has also won two awards before for his Oscar winning movieÂ Slumdog Millionaire. Rahman won the first Grammy Award before the show, at theÂ StaplesÂ Center.Â He got the best compilation soundtrack for the category of motion picture. Jai Ho won the best motion picture song later.
Rahman said, “This is insane, god is great again”. The people nominated along with Rahman in the soundtrack category were Steve Jordan for Cadillac Records, Quentin Tarantino for Inglorious Bastard, and the producers of True Blood and Twilight. In the category of best song, Rahman has beaten people like Bruce Springsteen for his song The Wrestler for his Oscar nominated movie The Wrestler.
Bipasha is performing in five star hotel on New Year’s eve. Apparently, Bipasha Basu is the only to get a good deal for her act on 31 December. Sources have said that, Bipasha is performing for 15 minutes and has asked for two crores. Bipasha remained unavailable for comment. Two years back in 2007, she charged Rs. 90 Lakh for a 15 minute performance in a different hotel.
When asked the leggy lass about remuneration, Bipasha says, “All I say, its great money and they have offered me the same deal that I got two years ago with another hotel. And it is been two years, so the rates would have gone up. Naturally the amount has to be very big or I would not be doing it.”
The beautiful actress will have a grand entry twice, and will be performing on some of the hit songs of Bollywood. She is also performing on some songs from the 70s. When asked her if she it was a step down from her previous performance, she said, “I cannot keep performing at the same hotel every year. It is a five star hotel, credible they pay me good money and there are nice people associated with it. Apart from that, John and his family and our friends will also come for the event and we will have our own party there. The hotel has agreed to host our party too.”
Fashion designer Rocky S is designing Bipasha’s costume for the event, he says, “both Bipasha’s outfits are shiny, elaborate and very expensive as befitting a New Year’s show. My favorite color for Bipasha is red so one number is a very 40s style, vintage dress in red above the knee, fully tasseled in silk and clustered in red Swaroski crystals. The second dress is made of georgette, is in onion pink and completely covered with diamonds. It is a very short dress with tassels at the hem. Both the dresses are very sexy.”
Jermaine Jackson is planning to pay tribute to his late brother Michael Jackson. The show will be held at the Schonbrunn Palace, Vienna on September 26. However among the participants who will lend their voices at the event includes Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam. The other artist participating for the tribute includes boy band US5, soul vocalist Natalie Cole and R&B singer Akon.
Excited to pay tribute to his favourite star, Sonu said, “It must be a karmic connection with the Jacksons. Honestly, till I performed in Los Angeles last month, I hadn’t met any of Michael’s family. The universe has a way of bringing people together. Like Mohammed Rafi saab, I’ve been a huge admirer of Michael Jackson as well. But I still can’t believe that I have an immediate connection with his family. At the concert, Jermaine and I hit it off, and before I knew he had agreed to perform with me to a song I had composed and written. I’m leaving in a couple of days to fly to Vienna to participate in the MJ Tribute.”
Today is the 51st birthday of King of Pop, Michael Jackson and Bollywood is all geared up to pay tribute to the legend with a music video. The abrupt death of the legend on June 25th this year drowned the whole world into grief.
It was Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s idea to make a music video and for that he has brought together biggest personalities from the industry. The music video is titled as ‘Make it Large - A tribute to Michael Jackson’ and singers like Shankar Mahadevan, Shreya Ghoshal, KK, Shaan and Vishal-Shekhar have lent their voice for it. However actors Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Anoushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and cricketer Yuvraj Singh have shared their testimonials to the Jackson in the video. It also features Prabhu Deva dancing in MJ’s style.
Vishal has written lyrics for the song. He said, “The entire world was upset about his demise and so were Shekhar (Ravjiani) and I. We happened to meet Shah Rukh and he also expressed his thought about doing something that would be suitable the stature of the man who entertained us for decades. This is how the idea around the music video was born.”
The video would be launched today, 29th August on 51st birthday of Michael. It will be broadcasted on all the music channels for a day only. However it is available on SRK’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment and Vishal-Shekhar’s website for free download.
Vishal later added, “The video wasn’t created for making money. It’s a tribute and I am sure there are millions out there who would want to grab a copy of the song for themselves. We are more than glad to share our sentiments with the rest of the world.”
Bollywood bombshell Mallika Sherawat has recently honoured with a special recognition and resolution in Los Angeles City Hall by Hollywood. It is first of its kind. By the time she also met her avid Japanese fans over there including former Japanese prime minister.
The former Japanese PM was also supposed to honour after Mallika, but the Japanese representative made whole the council to wait for that until they followed Mallika in a media room to have a snap with her.
Tom Lebonge, a member of Hollywood Council introduced the former Japanese PM was to Mallika. However, the PM feels Mallika as ‘our girl’. Also the Japanese diplomat said that he was “enamoured” by her beauty and invited her to Japan. Glad meeting with her overseas fans, Mallika accepted the offer and plans to visit Japan, who was never been there.
It must be kind of double honour for the actress. Mallika has previously worked with superstar of South East Asia, Jackie Chan in The Myth.

Choreographer Remo D’Souza who considers the late King of Pop Michael Jackson as his guru, is planning to pay tribute to the master by organizing a huge concert in the memory of the legend. The concert will be accompanied by singers like Shaan, Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan who will sing MJ’s hit songs. Also the organizers are planning to involve Prabhu Deva to perform there. According to the sources the concert will be held at the Gateway of India only after the permission is sanctioned.
When asked to Remo about the concert, he confirmed it and said, “I will be in a better position to give out details after a few hours. All I can say is that it will be a huge concert and will involve many renowned people from the music industry and also those who have interacted with Michael Jackson.”
However talking about the lovingly pop star, Remo said, “He has been an inspiration to people worldwide and I am just one of his million admirers. Although I did not take any formal training from him, I consider him my guru. This concert is my way of repaying his debt.”
The most prestigious award of Bollywood, the 54th Filmfare Awards took place at the Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai on February 28. Filmfare Awards is the oldest award ceremony and is same like the Oscars of Hollywood. The event was hosted by actors Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan. Both the actors rocked the show with their humor.
