Neeru Bajwa and Vivek Oberoi

Vivek Oberoi has been single since his break up with Aishwarya Rai, but seems like the actor has found new love in his Prince - It’s Showtime co-star and TV actress Neeru Bajwa. However he has linked up with many women in between like Vidya Balan, Minissha Lamba and Sonam Kapoor. Well when the buzz was going round the floor that Vivek is a flirt, actress Kareena Kapoor advised him to get a steady partner on the sets of Kurbaan. So does he really found a steady partner in Neeru?

One of the unit members from the sets of Prince - It’s Showtime said, “Vivek and Neeru spent a lot of quality time on the sets together in South Africa, while the scenes were being readied. Vivek was quite enamored by Neeru. Their bonding was to be seen to be believed.”

Meanwhile there is also a buzz that the director of the film, the debutant Kookie Gulati is also good friend with the actress. However the onlookers felt that Neeru is in more favor of director. “Thankfully, Vivek and Kookie did not fight over Neeru; else it might have disrupted the shoot. Soon, Neeru’s ‘friendship’ with Vivek and Kookie became the hot topic of conversation on the set,” added the unit member.

With her friendship with both director and the co-star, Neeru earned more part in the film. “Originally, she was supposed to do a very small role. But soon, her role increased and kept increasing with each passing day. First, Kookie added a song which was picturised on her, subsequently he added a few extra scenes which featured her,” the source added.

Neeru had previously appeared in some Punjabi movies and there after she did TV serial Guns and Roses. However she shook a leg with boyfriend Amit Sadh on the sets of Nach Baliye 2. However there were rumors that she and Amit got married secretly. Then after she only seen on January 26 at director Arif Sheikh’s wedding where Vivek also was present. Later also on July 11 at Kumar Taurani’s 50th birthday she was seen and Vivek this time too was present.

When asked to Neeru about this, she said, “I hope Vivek is still enamored by my beauty. He is a great co-star. I don’t know if there was any attraction, but I was very nervous because I was doing my first Hindi film. Vivek, Kookie and I are good friends; we hung out and got along awesomely.”

However she declared that she and Amit are not together now. “Amit and I parted ways long ago. We hadn’t married. Now, I stay in Andheri,” she admitted.

Then what about her increased role for the film? “Hmm… not really. Yes, I have a big role. There was a little mystery about a song as to who will do it. Eventually, I did it,” says Neeru.

Meanwhile, the director of the film Kookie Gulati clarifies, “Neeru and I are good friends. That’s it. Nothing more. I have not increased her role. The film is still being edited by a very professional editor in France. And I have no clue if she was close to Vivek. That’s between them.”

Sreesanth, Vivek, Ritesh on Tere Mere Beach Mein

In a candid chat with Farah Khan on her chat show Tere Mere Beech Mein, Vivek Oberoi revealed some truths of his life including his infamous quarrel with Salman Khan, films and Aishwarya. Vivek was accompanied by Ritesh Deshmukh on the show. Promos of the show telecasted on many news channels on Thursday. However the show will be aired on Star Plus on Sunday.

During the conversation, when Vivek was asked about what made him to throw a press conference against Salman, he replied, “Uss waqt mere aaspas bahut log the aur woh apni ‘RAI’ dete the.’ Farah interrupted Vivek saying, “Accha word chunna aapne, ‘RAI’ (You choose a good word ‘RAI’

Vivek amended the word saying, “Mashwarra dete the and I went by their word. Moreover I was young that time and my father (Suresh Oberoi) too was not in town when I took that decision.”

Vivek later added that it was hurting for him when people whom he trusted didn’t stand by him during his hour of crisis. Allegedly, Vivek was dating Aishwarya Rai in 2003 just before their film together Kyon Ho Gaya Na. But later Aishwarya broke up with him.

Vivek didn’t make any direct statement against Ash, but said, “There is less plastic in Tupperware factory than our film industry. People with plastic smile and plastic heart.”

Vivek Oberoi and Anoushka Shankar

The hottest gossip going around in the B-town currently is that actor Vivek Oberoi and sitar player Anoushka Shankar (daughter of Legendary Sitar Virtuoso Ravi Shankar) are an item. But when it asked directly to them, they didn’t say anything clearly but admitted that they are ‘just friends’.

“Anoushka and I have become good friends. She’s a wonderful artiste and human being. She has performed to raise funds for ‘The Banyan’, a charitable trust that I’ve been the ambassador of,” says Vivek.

And when it asked to the Anoushka, she replied, “Vivek and I are good friends, but I don’t really want to say anything else. As for my relationship, well, I can’t really say anything about that right now either for personal reasons. But yes, I’m looking to live alone for a few months this summer and work on music and get some time alone, probably in LA. It just feels like that’s what I need right now.”
