Earlier we posted that actress Hema Malini is producing a film for daughter Esha Deol as a lead. Well the updates say that she has roped in veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Vinod Khanna for the film. However news also is that there will be one more prominent actor to join the star cast of the film.

The film has got a tentative title Tell Me Oh Khuda. Arjan Bajwa of Fashion fame will play a lead role opposite Esha. According to a source Hema had took lot of time to bring the project. The film is a story of a girl (Esha) who is seeking her father. Is it inspired from Meryl Streep starrer Mamma Mia! (2008)? “Although the story is different from Mamma Mia!, people may still think that it is based on the Hollywood musical,” explains the source.

Is Hema playing mother to Esha in the film? “Hema might be a part of the film. She is not yet sure whether she wants to only produce it or also act in it,” adds the source.

Debutant Mayur Puri will direct the film, who previously worked as an associate director for Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom. However, Pritam will compose music for it.

The whole industry is aware about the kind of affectionate relationship between Hema and her daughter Esha and Ahana. Hema love her daughters to distraction. However she has come forward to help Esha on professional front. Hema is taking care of every aspect of the films from scripts to costumes. She simply doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned for her dear daughter.

But my interests in life have been changing,” says the actress. She later added, “My priorities have changed.”
